Meet Isabella Jordan, TFA Member currently serving with Carver High School, located in the northern section of Birmingham, Alabama (Jefferson County). A service site of the Teach for America Alabama AmeriCorps program.
Teach For America finds, develops, and supports equity-oriented leaders to transform education and expand opportunity for all children.
What inspired you to serve as a Teach for America/AmeriCorps member? I honestly just wanted to be involved with a group of people that were all dedicated to doing whatever was needed to better support and challenge students in the US, specifically in Alabama.
What are your plans after Teach for America/AmeriCorps? After AmeriCorps, I plan to continue teaching!
