Meet Virginia Saft, currently serving with Greensboro Elementary School, located in Greensboro, Alabama (Hale County). A service site of the Teach for America Alabama AmeriCorps program.
Teach For America finds, develops, and supports equity-oriented leaders to transform education and expand opportunity for all children.
What inspired you to serve as a Teach for America/AmeriCorps member? I was inspired to serve as an AmeriCorps member because I wanted to work at Greensboro Elementary School and serve in Hale County.
What are your plans after Teach for America/AmeriCorps? After AmeriCorps, I am unsure of my plans, but I may continue at my school where I currently serve.

Pseudomonas syringae pv lachrymans (Psl) causes angular leaf spot in cucumber, zucchini squash, and honeydew melon and other vegetable. Characteristic symptoms of this disease on leaves are angular shaped, watersoaked lesions delimited by veins. Psl is the seed-borne bacteria.
