We are looking for an (AmeriCorps) Program Officer to become a part of our Alabama State Service Commission team!
This position is full-time, located in Montgomery, AL, and offers a competitive salary with state benefits, including health insurance, retirement, and annual and sick leave. The Commission is housed in the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs.
The Governor’s Office of Volunteer Services has an opening for a Program Officer. This position is responsible for providing program management, training and technical assistance, compliance monitoring, and reporting for a portfolio of AmeriCorps programs and other National Service subgrantees and constituents. The ideal candidate will have relevant professional experience, be detail-oriented and highly organized, with a solutions-oriented approach to their work, have excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills, and enjoy the challenges of a growing and evolving service-oriented agency and working with various organizations.
