Member Spotlight: Angelica Izuogu, Teach for America Alabama AmeriCorps Program
Meet Angelica Izuogu, TFA member currently serving with Parker High School, located in the northern section of Birmingham, Alabama (Jefferson County). A service site of the Teach for America Alabama AmeriCorps program.

What inspired you to serve as a Teach for America/AmeriCorps member? I witnessed my mother’s TFA Corps journey in Eastern North Carolina. Upon my graduation with a master’s degree, I decided to defer applying to medical school, apply to TFA and teach for a few years as I prepare. I thought what better way to offer my skills and knowledge to students and take time off to prepare for medical school.
I remember vividly the summer my mother was going through her Institute training in North Carolina and listening to her share her stories about her experience. I had always been interested in education, but never considered or thought of being an educator. Her experiences and stories she shared about her scholars and fellow educators influenced my decision to apply to TFA.
What are your plans after Teach for America/AmeriCorps? My plans after Teach for America include applying to medical or PA school to pursue my long-term dream of serving in the medical field as a medical professional. I hope to still stay connected to education in some form even after leaving the classroom.

u888 Hôm trước mình đang xem một số trang trên mạng thì tình cờ ghé vào đây vì thấy tên khá quen. Mình chỉ dành vài phút xem qua giao diện, để ý cách bố trí menu và trình bày các nhóm thông tin. Trang có thiết kế khá “LEAN”, không quá nhiều chi tiết thừa, các danh mục được sắp xếp theo từng khu vực nên dễ quan sát. Phần giấy phép pháp lý cũng được thể hiện riêng, thuận tiện cho người muốn kiểm tra. Nhìn chung, cách trình bày tương đối mạch lạc, các tiêu đề dễ phân biệt và tổng thể không tạo cảm giác quá tải khi lướt qua.
Khi rà soát https://qq888inc.com/, mình thay đổi kích thước cửa sổ trình duyệt để xem các thành phần giao diện thích ứng ra sao. Một trang có thể hiển thị cân đối trên màn hình lớn nhưng gặp vấn đề khi chiều rộng bị thu hẹp. Mình kiểm tra xem tiêu đề có bị cắt, văn bản có tràn khỏi khu vực hiển thị hoặc các nút có chồng lên nhau hay không. Menu cũng là thành phần cần được quan sát vì cách bố trí có thể thay đổi theo kích thước màn hình. What interests me about reading news and commentary more carefully is how a broad idea becomes part of an ordinary day. A striking headline is easier to evaluate when its main claim is separated from the supporting detail. It is the kind of question I would keep in mind when thinking about Haberyerin and news and media literacy. The smaller details are what I would want to return to, especially when an explanation feels too broad. What would you check before passing a story on to someone else?
I had come across 88JL a few times before deciding to explore it myself. The website presented a fairly clean interface, with different types of information arranged into separate sections. This structure made it easier to scan the page without spending too much time searching. The visible headings helped identify key areas, while the overall arrangement looked organized and made moving between categories relatively straightforward.
Trước đây mình từng thấy u888 vài lần nhưng gần đây mới có thời gian ấn vào xem kỹ hơn một chút. Mình chủ yếu quan sát bố cục địa phương và cách các phần thông tin được đặt trên trang. Tổng thể khá thoáng nên việc xác định từng khu vực không bị mất nhiều thời gian, thao tác chuyển mục cũng phản hồi nhanh. tạo cảm giác dễ tìm kiếm thông tin nên người mới cũng không mất nhiều thời gian để làm quen.
