Member Spotlight: Brandon Veals, ANFRC AmeriCorps Member

Meet Brandon Veals, serving with the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers AmeriCorps program at the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement.

What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? My motivation for joining AmeriCorps was being a driving force in the community. I want to make a change in my neighborhood in New Orleans and I know this program will teach me great tactics.

What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? I would like to get good leadership skills and the ability to relate to very diverse community.

What will your service focus on for the 2017-18 program year? My focus will be relating to diverse crowd and being a positive role model.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? My plan is to start a restaurant and buy property in my neighborhood.
