Meet Brennan Spoor, TFA Member currently serving with Phillips Academy, located in Birmingham, Alabama (Jefferson County). A service site of the Teach for America Alabama AmeriCorps program.
Teach For America finds, develops, and supports equity-oriented leaders to transform education and expand opportunity for all children.
What inspired you to serve as a Teach for America/AmeriCorps member? I did not get the legal job I wanted right out of law school, and I wanted to still serve the public, rather than work in a legal capacity that wasn’t public service.
What are your plans after Teach for America/AmeriCorps? I plan to continue pursuing a job in environmental law.
Brennan, thank you for your service!
