1. What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? It was a service program geared towards helping the community and not corporate-oriented dealing with politics.
2. What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? I would like to get a better understanding of how kids feel about the opportunities presented while being able to better communicate with students and parents.
3. What will your service focus on for the 2019-20 program year? During this program year, my service will focus on assisting low income children in a personalized school learning system. Also providing them with mentorship.
4. What are your plans after AmeriCorps? I plan to finish my degree in Psychology and become a freelance therapist working in child development for underprivileged children.
Thank you for your service, Jasmine!
