Member Spotlight: Amanda Hull, ANFRC AmeriCorps member
Meet Amanda Hull, serving with the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers AmeriCorps program at the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement.
What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? My desire is to be a social worker. I love working with diverse groups of people to accomplish a purpose, to make the world a better place. One community, one person, one child at a time.
What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? To become more aware of all the different cultures and personalities and just experience the different people in my community.
What will your service focus on for the 2017-18 program year? I will be serving in the after-school program, Bridges, helping with tutoring and mentoring.
What are your plans after AmeriCorps? To be accepted into the Social Work program at Southern Adventist University and to become the person I always thought I could be.
Thank you for your service Amanda!
