Member Spotlight: Mike Earnest, Instructional Assistant

Meet Mike Earnest, he serves with the AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team at Greenville Elementary.

What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? To serve my community and make a difference in my community and take advantage of the education award.

What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? Help me serve Greenville Elementary to be the best it can be academically.

What will your service focus on for the 2017-18 program year? Providing direct support to economically disadvantaged students in order to improve performance in literacy and/or math as to better provide a successful future.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? I hope I will be able to still to work with children in Butler County to make their future better.
