What will your service focus on for the 2017-18 program year? my focus for 2017-18 program year will be to provide students in grades K-2 the direct support to improve assessments of literacy and/or math academic standardized tests. I also plan to focus on uplifting those students’ attitudes towards school spirit and their self-esteem.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? After AmeriCorps, I plan to also finish with my degree in Elementary Education. I would like to smoothly transition into my own classroom and continue to love and educate our children if the future.

Thank you for your service Davida!
