"I joined AmeriCorps because I was interested in being a tutor in the after school program with the AmeriCorps members in my area."

"My favorite part about national service is being able to give back to the community that has given me so much."

"My favorite thing to do when I'm not serving is to hang out with my family and friends."

"My plans after AmeriCorps include continuing my college education, and becoming an elementary teacher!"
