Why did you join AmeriCorps?

"I joined AmeriCorps to mentor and touch the lives of students through tutoring math and reading."

What is your favorite part of national service?

"My favorite part of national service is working with people that I come in contact with everyday. From the students to the teachers and the staff. As well as connect with the people that I have come in contact at my different service project. To connect and to give a helping hand when it is needed."

What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not serving?

"My favorite thing to do when I am not serving is to spend time with my Five year old daughter and my family. Because they are my bring me joy. And to laugh and talk going shopping with them is joy in itself."

What is your favorite snack?

"My favorite snack is peanut M&M."

What is your favorite soda?

"My favorite soda is Strawberry Fanta."

What are your plans after AmeriCorps?

"After completing my AmeriCorps service, I plan on further my education and become an Elementary Education teacher."
