Why did you join AmeriCorps? I joined AmeriCorps to be a part of an amazing national-wide organization where I can volunteer and give back to my community.

What is your favorite part of national service? In AmeriCorps I’m given the opportunity to make a positive impact on lives of the children in my community school system. AmeriCorps allows me to get hands on experience with students and the classroom setting for when I become an educator.

What is your favorite thing to do when you are not serving? I enjoy hunting, fishing but this summer I’ve been busy building a porch and a foundation for my new house.

What is your favorite snack? Cherry Coke.

What is your favorite soda? Snickers.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps?

I plan to become an Elementary Teacher after AmeriCorps.
