We have two members serving at this site.
What is your organizations goal at this site?
During the summer the AmeriCorps members serve in classrooms on a rotational basis performing interventional activities in reading and math. Because of the Summer Camp theme, members also participate in arts, crafts, drama and recreational activities during the day.
What is something exciting that has happened at this site?
In July, the entire Summer Camp will travel to Atlanta to visit the Georgia Aquarium. The visit will definitely be the highlight after studying fish science (Ichthyology) each day in the classroom.
