"I joined AmeriCorp to gain experience with working with children through the Bridges Afterschool Program. I also enjoy serving my community."

"My favorite part of national service is coming in contact with new people in my community through service and making my community a better place."

"One of my favorite things to do when not serving is spending time with my friends."

What are your plans after AmeriCorps?

"After AmeriCorp, I plan on transferring to the University of Alabama to work on a major of Secondary Education in English."
