Why did you join AmeriCorps ?
"My entire adult life has been about service and the Segal Education Award made joining AmeriCorps a wise decision."
What is your favorite part of national service?
"What is your favorite thing to do when you are not serving? I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my students and my teachers. I hunt and fish and enjoy building beds, swings, outdoor furniture in my woodworking shop at home. Plus I have been involved in Scouting for 15 years and currently serve as Assistant Scout Master for Troop#520 in Greenville."
Favorite soda: "Cherry Coke."
Favorite snack: "Snickers."
What are your plans after AmeriCorps?
"I want to complete my coursework earning a degree in Exercise Science and hopefully be employed by the Butler County BOE one day at Greenville Elementary School."
