The Governor's Office of Volunteer Services and AmeriCorps are pleased to announce the availability of federal funds to support new, recompete, and continuation Alabama AmeriCorps State applicants to start in October 2022.

In November, the Governor's Office of Volunteer Services hosted technical assistance webinars for the FY22 AmeriCorps State Funding Opportunity. If you missed the webinars located below, you can register to view them!! Please note, All New Applicants are REQUIRED to view all three webinars to submit an application.

 
New, Continuation, and Recompete applicants must select a program year start date of October 1, 2022 for the 2022-23 program year.

Multi-State AmeriCorps Programs

Organizations that intend to operate an AmeriCorps program in more than one state or territory must apply directly to AmeriCorps, the federal agency that administers AmeriCorps and other national service programs in the United States.
 

Prior to submitting an application, multi-state applicants must consult with the Commissions of the states in which they intend to operate. Multi-state organizations proposing to operate in Alabama should consult with the Alabama State Service Commission by submitting the National Direct Consultation Form.
