Judo gi are a relatively new part of this Japanese martial art with roots in Jujitsu, and even with the Samurai. A black Judo gi is worn by some Judoka during practice, keeping their High Quality Judo gi in pristine order. Judo instructors will typically have a specific placement of specific patches that you should follow on your Judo gi.
