Meet Joseph Jones, Half Time Member, currently serving in the Selma AmeriCorps Program.

1. What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? I was motivated to join AmeriCorps because I wanted to help my community by serving others with activities like mentoring students in schools and other learning aspects.

2. What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? What I would like to get out of this service opportunity is my educational awards and the opportunity to help others in this city.

3. What will your service focus on for the 2019-2020 program year? During this program year, my service will focus on being wiser in how I tutor and mentor the students.

4. What are your plans after AmeriCorps? My plans after AmeriCorps are to keep serving my community in various ways along with tutoring and mentoring students.
