What is your favorite part of national service?
"I believe my favorite part of national service is the feeling you get after you have truly made someone’s day. Whether it is a kind word or gesture; I think Mahatma Gandhi said it best, 'be the change you wish to see in the world' and because of this I plan on doing just that."
What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not serving?
"My absolute favorite thing to do when I am not serving is, acting. I find performing arts fascinating. Whether it is developing a character, creating a different voice, or simply studying how someone else walks. An artist is an explorer and honestly, it is only in theatre that I am able to really live."
What is your favorite snack?
"I love fruit…but, occasionally I’ll indulge in sour gummy worms."
What is your favorite soda?
"Dr. Pepper of course!"
What are your plans after AmeriCorps?
"After AmeriCorps, I plan to attend Columbia University in New York City to pursue a Master’s degree in Theatre."
