    TARC connects communities to people, information, tools, and skill building opportunities to make change happen.

    The Center for Public Justice
    The Center for Public Justice is a leading source of information on Charitable Choice and provides insight on the faith-based initiative.

    FastenNetwork.org
    FASTEN assists faith-based organizations in exploring whether to launch or expand efforts in providing social services in their urban communities.

    GuideStar.org
    GuideStar provides a current database of approximately 850,000 non-profit organizations that includes information regarding their operations, finances, etc.

    National Resource Center
    The National Resource Center, which is funded by the Compassion Capital Fund (CCF), serves as an expert resource regarding faith-based and community initiatives and best practices. The Center develops and organizes a repository and distribution center for information, tools, and other materials for faith-based and community organizations - and for organizations that work with these grassroots groups. The National Resource Center helps organizations develop capacity, increase knowledge and hone skills, as well as providing a forum for stimulating discussion about important issues.

    Roundtable on Religion and Social Welfare Policy
    Roundtable on Religion and Social Welfare Policy conducts in-depth nationwide research on the role and efficacy of faith-based social service programs. The Roundtable is a project of the Rockefeller Institute of Government and is sponsored by the Pew Charitable Trusts.

    We Care America believes that if the community comprised of government, corporations and the faith community will collaborate around a shared vision, we can experience a revolution of compassion that will transform individuals and revitalize communities, bringing heath and vitality to those in need. Therefore, the mission of We Care America is to help the community of faith build greater capacity to serve those in need through strategic partnerships with government, corporations and others faith-based organizations, leadership training, leveraging resources and volunteerism.

    The Welfare Information Network is the prominent source of news about all aspects of welfare reform.

    www.VolunteerResource.org
    VolunteerResource.org is a newly launched, national online library developed
    to strengthen the volunteer sector by connecting people and information.

    Nonprofit Resource Center of Alabama (NRCA)
    The mission of the Nonprofit Resource Center of Alabama is: To strengthen and support Alabama nonprofit organizations in serving their communities.

    The Nonprofit Resource Center of Alabama is a membership organization open to any nonprofit [primarily 501(c)3 and 501(c)4] in Alabama. Hundreds of nonprofit organizations around the state are members. Individual and Business memberships are also available. The Resource Center is located in Birmingham, but members can access services from anywhere in the state by telephone, e-mail, online, visits, or participation in programs held in locations throughout Alabama. The Resource Center is Alabama's only centralized source of information, programs and services specifically designed to meet the needs of Alabama's nonprofit community.
