“I am originally from Connellsville, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in May of 2006. I decided to service as a VISTA in Montgomery because I felt that there was a lot of work to be done in disaster response and recovery. Hopefully I can make a difference and have a memorable year.”

Rockefeller Research Library for a year before serving as an English teacher in Turkmenistan with Peace Corps. I will work in the Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives to increase the capacity, integration, and knowledge of homeless service providers across the State of Alabama.

I am from Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan with a heavy concentration in Sociology and Criminal Justice. I decided to serve in Montgomery because I felt the great state of Alabama would allow me to thrive in the area of faith-based organizations and community initiatives. I'm thrilled to work on the Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives Community Outreach and Education Program!
