The first-ever AmeriCorps Week is scheduled for May 13-20, 2007 and will mark a historic milestone as the 500,000th AmeriCorps member nationwide will take the pledge to "get things done for America."  The weeklong, nationwide event is designed to bring more Americans into service, salute AmeriCorps members and alums for their powerful impact, and thank community partners who make AmeriCorps possible.
